Special incentive scheme in Railway Board (Latest Order)

Ministry of Railways have approved the special incentive scheme as proposed by CLW subject to the following :-
1. Incentive bonus limit to be 70%
2. Simultaneously , allowed timing should be reduced by2.5% at 60% ( level with cut in allowed time being linearly indexed to increase in incentive earnings between 50% and 60% with 0% cut at 50% earning and 2.5% cut at 60%earning)
3. Allowed time to be further reduced by 1% at 70% level using the same formula of linear indexing between60-70%.
4. GM/CLW to advise a time bound target of the implementation of proposed group incentive scheme at CLW. All out may be made for switiching ober to GIS at CLW.
6. The special incentive scheme is applicable for the year 2010-2011. There will be no staff increase and all other terms and conditions would remain the same as were applicable for the year 2010-2011.

Pongal bonus announced for Tamilnadu Govt., Employees

Read the following:-
ORDER:-
1. Government has decided to grant Adhoc Bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments on a base of 30 days a month to all regular and temporary Government employees, employees of Local Bodies and Aided Educational Institutions including teachers on regular time scales of pay for the financial year 2009-2010.
2. Employees in Groups ‘C’ and ‘D’ were paid Adhoc Bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments subject to a ceiling of Rs.3,000/- during the year 2008-2009. Accordingly, Government direct that all regular and temporary Government employees who are on regular time scales of pay, employees of Local Bodies and Aided Educational Institutions including teachers on regular time scales of pay in ‘C’ and ‘D’ group be paid adhoc bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments on a base of 30 days a month for the financial year 2009-2010. The Adhoc Bonus shall be computed on the basis of actual emoluments as on 31 st
March 2010. The amount of adhoc bonus shall be calculated as if monthly emoluments were Rs.3,000/- per month. In respect of those drawing pay in the pre-revised / revised scales of pay, the calculation of adhoc bonus shall be based on the emoluments drawn subject to the upper ceiling of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) per month. The upper ceiling limit shall be applicable irrespective of whether the emoluments are drawn in the pre-revised or revised scales of pay.
3. Employees in Groups ‘A’ & ‘B’ including those coming under University
Grants Commission / All India Council for Technical Education / Indian Council of
Agricultural Research scales of pay and All India Service Regulations are not covered
by the bonus scheme and are not entitled to get any adhoc bonus amount.
Government has decided to grant Special Adhoc Bonus to these employees and direct
that employees in groups ‘A’ & ‘B’ including those on University Grants Commission /
All India Council for Technical Education / Indian Council of Agricultural Research
scales of pay and All India Service Reg………

8.33% BONUS FOR TAMILNADU TRANSPORT STAFF
This would cost the exchequer about Rs. 100 crore.
Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi made the announcement today, besides announcing 11.67 per cent incentive for 1.27 lakh employees of various transport corporations, a government release here said.
“Despite no hike in ticket fares since 2006 (when DMK came to power) and transport corporations running on losses, the government has been giving bonus and incentive. The expenditure due to this will be Rs. 99.54 crore,” the release added.
More than 17,000 “substitute” workers of various transport corporations will also benefit, the release added
